Attendance: Open to all attending OCEANS’17 and Exhibition Pass Holders
This special session will examine the challenges of developing an undersea infrastructure capability supporting remote operations. Areas of interest include but are not limited to autonomous/unmanned systems/concepts for supporting remote and autonomous operations in challenging environments (including subsea). After the presentation portion of the session, the town hall panel made up of Naval Research engineers, will facilitate a Q&A/discussion that will focus on advancing the community’s knowledge of this challenging technical area.
Research Engineers supporting the Office of Naval Research will participate. This session seeks to foster the exchange of information between government, industry, and academia regarding the challenges/technologies/capabilities in this area of undersea operation and sustainability.
